The idea

Every true move starts with a false one.

LIT reads all three phases of AMD and capitalizes on the momentum produced by the inducement of liquidity through a false move before the true move begins.

Accumulation

Price builds up buyers and sellers on both ends of a range, stacking liquidity.

Manipulation

Price induces orders on one side of the accumulation range, trapping breakout traders & others who enter too early.

After the inducement, price gathers enough liquidity to deliver back towards the liquidity left at the opposite end of the accumulation range.

Questions

Do I need trading experience?

You should have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of ICT (e.g., liquidity, liquidity sweeps, FVGs, order blocks/rejection blocks) and some basic comprehension of AMD. The most important trait I would prefer is the willingness and drive to learn.

Will this make me profitable?

It can significantly help in the process; however, there are no guarantees. Futures trading carries a substantial risk of loss, and many traders lose money. LIT is a method to study, not a promise of results.
